Walk In Wednesday: drop in and get a vaccine
Today is Walk In Wednesday in B.C. with all COVID-19 vaccine clinics offering walk-in doses, including at the Vernon Recreation Centre auditorium from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, and closed between 12 and 1 p.m for lunch.
The drop-in sites in the Kelowna area are Trinity Church, Rutland Secondary and Westbank Lions Hall from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Kelowna Yacht Club from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
You don’t need to register or book an appointment before you arrive, and you will get either a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

Dose 1 eligibility: All people aged 12+
Dose 2 eligibility: All people vaccinated before June 16
People are asked to bring photo ID to the clinic.
If you’re getting the second dose, you’re encouraged to also bring your immunization record card.
As of Tuesday, 81.4 per cent of eligible B.C. residents, 12 and older, had received one vaccine, and 67.3 per cent have had two doses.
