BCHL to play 47-game pre-season schedule

The BC Hockey League announced its exhibition schedule today, consisting of 47 games over a two-week stretch.

The preseason starts on Sep. 19 with a game between the Alberni Valley Bulldogs and Victoria Grizzlies and concludes on Oct. 3 with a pair of afternoon games in Prince George and Surrey.

The Vernon Vipers will play six exhibition games, starting Tuesday, Sept. 21 at home to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks at Kal Tire Place.

BCHL training camps will start as early as Sep. 17.

Opening night of the regular season is on Friday, Oct. 8.
