The annual Cops for Kids bike ride through southern B.C. is back for another year.
A team of officers and support crew began the ride from the Sandman Hotel in Kelowna this morning.
The event raises funds and awareness for local children in medical, physical, or traumatic crisis.
Each rider must provide their own equipment, train on their own time, and fundraise a minimum of $2,500 in order to participate.
The 21st annual event will wrap up back in Kelowna on the 19th after travelling through Osoyoos, Cranbrook, Golden, Kamloops and Vernon.
