RCMP investigate man’s death

Kelowna RCMP are investigating a death involving a man in a taxi.

On Thursday, September 9, just after 12:30 p.m., RCMP were called to the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Chandler Street after a man suffered what is believed to have been a medical emergency while travelling in a taxi.

“Unfortunately efforts to resuscitate the man were unsuccessful,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy. “Our condolences go out to his loved ones.”

At this time, criminality is not suspected.

No further information is being released.
