Kelowna fire crews had a long way to respond to a house fire Monday morning.
It was in the 100 block of Timberline Road, south of Cedar Creek Regional Park and the two storey building was fully involved when they arrived.
The cause was under investigation and there were no reports of injuries.
Meantime, at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Monday, West Kelowna Fire Rescue responded to a small grass fire behind Angus Drive in West Kelowna.
The fire was apparently caused by campers in the area, and did not pose a threat to nearby structures.
Crews were able to quickly contain and extinguish the blaze.
