Fatal ATV crash in Lake Country

An all-terrain vehicle crash in Lake Country has claimed the life of a 27-year-old man from Kelowna.

Police say the man was found dead at the scene of an overturned ATV on Oyama Lake Forest Service Road around 5:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5.

A 32-year-old female passenger was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Police responded to the site after receiving a report that two people ATVing in that area were missing.

“The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing at this time,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy of Kelowna RCMP.

The BC Coroner’s Service is also investigating.
