Roots and Blues Festival ready for return of in-person performances
One of the big music events in the region will be making a return to live shows in 2022.
Organizers say the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival will hold its 30th anniversary event Aug. 18–21, 2022.
“It’s been two years since the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues community has celebrated together. Now, we’re ready to welcome you back to Salmon Arm for our landmark 30th-anniversary festival Aug. 18–21, 2022,” said a posting on social media.
The festival has featured online performances the last two years due to COVID-19.
The Salmon Arm Folk Music Society, which organizes the event, said artist submissions are now being accepted by artistic director Kevin Tobin on their website.
