Conservation officers are warning the public after a cougar lunged at a man walking his dog at Mission Creek Regional Park in Kelowna.
The man was walking his leashed, large-breed dog Sunday night when he noticed a cougar following them.
The cougar then lunged and attempted to attack the dog but was scared off.
There were no injuries.
