Arrest made in 2020 murder case

A Kelowna woman has been arrested in a homicide case that’s over a year old.

Kelowna RCMP opened the investigation on Dec. 13, 2020, when officers discovered the body of a deceased man outside a residence. Mounties had been called to the property in the 1700 block of Highway 33 for reports of a disturbance.

An investigation into the death led to the Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit arresting a 33-year old Kelowna woman on Feb. 11, 2022.

She has been charged with second degree murder.

The woman remains in custody until her court date.
