Rockets’ goalie snares MVP award

The Kelowna Rockets have announced the winners of their regular season awards presented by Tourism Kelowna.

It’s the first time that the team has handed out awards since the 2019-20 season.

The players who won awards that remain on the Rockets roster from the 2019-2020 season were also presented with their trophies from that season.

The 2021-22 season winners included:

Colton Dach — Top scorer

Jake Lee — Top defenceman

Andrew Cristall — Rookie of the year

Talyn Boyko — Most valuable player

The Rockets begin the WHL playoffs Friday against the Seattle Thunderbirds in Kent, Washington.
