MLA’s to host family event

Kelowna’s MLA’s are inviting the public to what is billed as an afternoon of free family fun.

Norm Letnick, Renee Merrifield and Ben Stewart, along with their BC Liberal riding associations, have arranged a friends and family event on Saturday, May 21 in the Apple Room at Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way in Kelowna from 2-5 p.m.

The event will feature entertaining activities for all ages, along with a barbeque, with vegetarian options available.

“After two plus years of not being able to gather together, we are excited to be host a family fun afternoon,” said Letnick, MLA for Kelowna Lake Country.

“We are so looking forward to seeing some smiles and laughter as we reconnect with those we may not have seen in person for awhile,” added Merrifield, Kelowna Mission MLA.

“Come for some good food, bring the kiddos and enjoy yourself,” added Stewart, Kelowna-West’s MLA.

There is no cost to attend and all are invited.
