Stolen snowboards recovered

The Kelowna RCMP is trying to reunite three high-end snowboards with their rightful owners.
The snowboards were recovered following a traffic stop on a U-Haul on April 23.
An officer had observed the male driver of the U-Haul slumped over the wheel. Along with the driver, there were three passengers in the vehicle, a man and two women.
An investigation was conducted and found that two of the passengers were wanted on outstanding warrants. They were arrested at the scene.
The officers then searched the U-Haul and seized the snowboards, which are believed to be stolen.
The boards include a black and red Burton Keith Haring with a multi-coloured Burton bag; an orange and black Lofi Rome snowboard with black boots and a black Dakine bag; and a green Tribal snowboard with white bindings and a red plaid bag.

The rightful owners of the snowboards are asked to call the Kelowna RCMP detachment at 250-762-3300 and quote file 2022-23462.
