Central Okanagan Search and Rescue members came to the aid of people injured in an off-road crash.

Twelve COSAR members responded to a call-out from BC Emergency Health Services on Saturday afternoon (May 28) to help evacuate two males who were hurt while using an all-terrain vehicle just off Postill Lake Road east of Lake Country.

The subjects were riding in an ATV called a Razor when it flipped over for unknown reasons.

Other riders in the group managed to remove the pair from the wrecked machine.

Both  sustained various injures and had to be transported from the scene with the use of the COSAR UTV.

“The injured males were transported to waiting ambulances and then taken to Kelowna General Hospital. It was COSAR’s 33rd task of 2022,” a news release from COSAR stated.
