Wanted man suspected to be in North Okanagan

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP say a wanted man is believed to be in the region, and is asking the public to keep an eye out for him.

Justin Tyler Howarth is wanted for assault, assault with a weapon, theft, uttering threats and pointing a firearm.

The 34-year-old Howarth is described as a Caucasian man, standing 5’9″ (175 cm) tall and weighing 146 lbs (66 kg). He has brown hair and blue eyes.

The RCMP warn that Howarth is considered violent and members of the public should not approach him.

Instead, anyone who sees or has information on the whereabouts of Howarth is asked to call the local police immediately or file an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers online or at 1-800-222-8477.
