UPDATE: Edmonton girl missing in Kelowna located

The RCMP is pleased to confirm that Destiny Redford, a 15-year-old female reported missing on Aug. 10 in Kelowna, has been located.

“She is safe and sound. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance,” a RCMP news release stated.

A girl who normally lives in Edmonton, Alberta, has gone missing in Kelowna.

RCMP say 15 year old Destiny Redford has been living with her grandparents in Kelowna since June 2022.

She normally lives with her mother in Edmonton, but moved in with her grandparents “after displaying concerning behaviour at home.”

Mounties say Redford was last seen by her grandmother on August 6.

She is described as a very petite female, standing approximately 5’2″ tall and weighing approximately 100 lbs. She has a slim build, long brown hair and bluish green eyes.
