UPDATE:

The 121st edition of the Interior Provincial Exhibition came to an end Sunday night in Armstrong.

Organizers say they will be announcing information soon on the attendance and how the five-day event went.

“We will be providing a summary in a few days after the fair. We are excited with the fair back and seeing everyone again!,” organizers told Vernon Matters on Sunday.

It was the first IPE in three years due to cancellations in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

The fair is seeing some big crowds as it returns after two straight years of cancellations due to the pandemic.

The parade was held on Saturday in the community of about 5,300 people..

Vernon Matters has requested attendance figures from the first four days, but organizers have so far not provided those.

After four nights of rodeo action, the new professional bull riding event will be held tonight at the fairgrounds on Pleasant Valley Road.
