BCHL announces results of all-star fan vote

After five days of voting last week, the B.C. Hockey League has unveiled the results of the All-Star Fan Vote to determine the remaining spots for the league’s 3-on-3 outdoor All-Star Tournament Jan. 21 in Penticton.

The final 10 roster spots were decided through a fan vote after the initial list of 18 skaters was announced on Nov. 17. Fans had the opportunity to choose from a group of 13 skaters from each conference as well as four goalies from each side to determine the final spots.

The Vernon Vipers will be represented by forward Reagan Milburn while the West Kelowna Warriors rep will be Jaiden Moriello.

The Salmon Arm Silverbacks lead all teams with three players: Owen Beckner (F), Nathan Mackie (F) and goalie Matthew Tovell.

The final piece of roster news for the 60th Anniversary celebration will be the players selected to the Top Prospects Game, which will be announced on Dec. 13.
