B.C. NDP raised a million dollars more than other parties combined in 2023

The B.C. NDP had more financial backing than other parties in the province last year.

Elections BC released a summary of the provincial political parties’ finances Monday, April 8, which showed that the NDP raised $4,542,419 in 2023.

BC United raised a total of $2,970,874 in 2023, while the Conservative Party of B.C. brought in $443,499.

The BC Green Party did not file its financial report to Elections BC by the April 2 deadline. The party will be charged a $100 late fee and have until July 2 to file its financial statements.
