Vernon and Kelowna will get a taste of the 2024 Grey Cup Festival at an event this weekend.

The Tour of BC will be stopping in 50 communities this summer to give Canadian Football League (CFL) fans the chance to experience the Grey Cup Festival in their own backyard.

It’s to build up excitement for the 111th Grey Cup game at BC Place in Vancouver on Nov. 17, 2024.

The tour will be in Vernon Saturday, June 8 (site to be announced) and in Kelowna Sunday, June 9 (TBA).

“For die-hard football fans and entertainment seekers alike, the Tour of BC, powered by LiUNA Local 1611, is your opportunity to leave a mark on the 2024 Grey Cup Festival,” a promotion for the event stated.
