Kelowna RCMP searching for stolen trailer, muscle car
Police in Kelowna are asking for assistance locating a stolen trailer carrying a classic muscle car.
The RCMP said the theft occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on August 9, and CCTV footage showed the enclosed trailer containing the car being towed away from a property in the 2000-block of Acland Road after suspects broke into a secured compound.
The trailer is described as a white 2001 Pace America trailer with a “Honda Racing” sticker on the side and license plate number 99653K.
The muscle car is a maroon 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle dragster, B.C. license plate SJ939J.
The suspect vehicle that towed the trailer from the scene was a light bluish-green, late 100’s GMC dually pickup. It has an extended cab, long box with chrome rocker panels, and chrome side steps.

Anyone with information on the suspect vehicle or the whereabouts of the stolen trailer and muscle car is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file #2024-46431, or report the sighting to the local police.
