BC Lions surprise local elementary school class

It was quite the surprise for young students at Casorso Elementary School recently.
Touchdown Kelowna excitement is picking up more steam, ahead of the two summer games for the BC Lions at the Apple Bowl, and the youngsters had sent letters to the team letting them know how much they were looking forward to the star players coming to town.

Needless to say, when Sean Whyte and Patrice Rene surprised the class with a live appearance, it caused quite the commotion.

The kids did their part with a lot of orange and black posters.
The BC Lions play two regular season games in Kelowna: versus the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday, June 27 at 4 p.m., and then the Edmonton Elks on Saturday, July 4 at 4 p.m.
