A cooking appliance was the cause of a small structure fire in Kelowna Friday morning.
At 8:20 a.m., fire crews responded to the 600 block of Bach Road.
Once arriving, crews reported light grey smoke coming from the eaves of a detached garage.
Fire crews gained entry and were able to quickly knock down a small fire in the corner of the garage.
“The cause of the fire is not suspicious and was due to a cooking appliance in the garage,” Platoon Captain Corrie Lang, said.
