Rockets auctioning off helmets for charity

Fans of local hockey are able to get their hands on some memorabilia.

The Kelowna Rockets are auctioning off game-worn white helmets from this past season, with all proceeds going to local charities.

The Rockets have partnered with RE/MAX Kelowna to auction off 20 signed helmets, each of which comes with a certificate of authenticity from the local WHL team.

All proceeds raised from the auction will go to the RE/MAX Realtors Legacy Fund which supports the Central Okanagan Food Bank, Arion Therapeutic Farm, Kelowna SPCA, Third Space, Jo Annas House, and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue.

The auction is open online until May 8.
