Flood alert issued for Westside Road

The Regional District of Central Okanagan is warning of some overland flooding.

A RDCO Facebook post said crews were assessing conditions of overland flooding on Westside Road between Wilson’s Landing and Lake Okanagan Resort.

It stated the flooding was caused by the rain Friday morning.

The RDCO advises people check DriveBC for road conditions, though as of time of publication there were no warnings on the road.
