Kelowna RCMP arrest several suspects after early morning robbery

Kelowna RCMP have arrested several individuals following an alleged robbery early Tuesday morning.

Police responded at around 5 a.m. to a business on the 800-block of Rutland Road North after staff reported that two armed individuals had taken items and fled on foot.

Officers, with the support of Police Dog Services and K9 Luger, located and arrested the suspects at a nearby residence.

Investigators from the General Investigation Section are continuing the probe and will be conducting further steps on the 300-block of McCurdy Road.

Cpl. Steven Lang praised the quick response of frontline officers and the calm actions of staff, which helped ensure the situation was resolved safely.
