Kelowna Mayor Tom Dyas will soon deliver his annual State of the City address.
The event takes place on Tuesday, April 21, at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort, hosted by the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, and begins with a luncheon for members and non-members, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Dyas is expected to provide updates on key city priorities, including housing, public safety, transportation, parks development, and complex care, as well as the city’s work with the provincial government on new regulations introduced during his term.
Chamber President Derek Gratz said the address is an important opportunity for the business community to hear about municipal initiatives, review progress on city priorities, and raise questions on issues of interest.
Attendees may also hear updates on major upcoming events in Kelowna, including the Memorial Cup, scheduled just over a month after the address, along with other events planned over the next 18 months.
Registration for the luncheon and address is open at www.kelownachamber.org/events.
