COVID-19 cases drop in Interior

British Columbia reported 330 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, with 71 in Interior Health (down from 142 on Friday).

The Interior has 570 active cases, which was a drop of 87 from Friday.

Sixty-nine people in IH are in hospital with COVID, with 28 in critical care.

The province has 337 COVID patients in hospitals with 115 in intensive or critical care.

B.C. has seen 2,303 COVID-related deaths with ten more over the weekend.

Over a three-day period, B.C. had 1,052 new cases of COVID-19, including three epi-linked cases, for a total of 215,688 cases in the province:

* Nov. 19-20: 390 new cases

* Nov. 20-21: 332 new cases

* Nov. 21-22: 330 new cases

As of today, 90.9 per cent of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first vaccine dose and 87.3 per cent have had two doses.
