New COVID-19 cases down in Vernon and Central Okanagan

New COVID-19 cases were down in Vernon and the Central Okanagan last week, but the case numbers were high for both Enderby and Armstrong-Spallumcheen.

Figures from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control for Nov. 14 – 20 show 44 cases for Vernon, which also includes Coldstream and RDNO Areas B and C. That was down from the 75 cases the week before.

The Central Okanagan area, which includes Kelowna, Lake Country and West Kelowna, had 140 new infections, down from the previous 227.

Enderby and Armstrong-Spallumcheen were at the high end of the average daily rate per population, with 20 cases in each of those communities.
