Two upcoming Kelowna Rockets games have been postponed as multiple players and staff had been added to the Western Hockey League’s COVID-19 protocol list.

A number of Rockets have exhibited symptoms or tested positive for the virus, resulting in the league postponing their Jan. 21st game in Everett and one on Saturday, Jan. 22 in Vancouver.

The game against the Everett Silvertips has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 6, though a new date for the game against the Vancouver Giants has not been set as of yet.

The Brandon Wheat Kings are also in a similar situation with multiple players and staff on the COVID protocol list, so their game on Friday, Jan. 21 against the Regina Pats has been postponed. That game was to be part of the CHL on TSN National Broadcast schedule, but the league said a replacement game will be found to fill that slot.
