COVID-19 cases up in some Okanagan communities

New COVID-19 case numbers were up in some Okanagan communities last week.
Figures from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control show Vernon, which includes Coldstream, RDNO Areas B and C, Lumby and Cherryville, reported 300 new infections for the week of Jan. 16–22, an increase of 77 from the previous week.
Armstrong-Spallumcheen (23 cases), Salmon Arm (60), Kamloops (449) and the Central Okanagan (962) also saw higher numbers.
