Suspect sought in late-February robbery

Kelowna RCMP are searching for the suspect involved in an alleged robbery in late February.

Mounties say a male suspect entered the gas station in the 700 block of Harvey Avenue in Kelowna at approximately 6:20 a.m. on Feb, 28. The suspect allegedly robbed the store of its cigarettes and fled on foot.

“The suspect is described as being 6-feet tall with a slender build, wearing a dark-coloured hoodie with what appears to be white spatter on the front, beige work pants, tan work boots, work gloves and a green mask,” said Cpl. Tammy Lobb, Media Relations Officer for the Kelowna RCMP.

The Kelowna RCMP General Investigative Services – Robbery Unit is leading the investigation in this case.
