Drivers injured in crash

RCMP is investigating a two-vehicle crash in the 3500-block of Glenmore Road North in Kelowna.

The preliminary investigation indicates a grey Nissan Versa was travelling southbound on the road when it passed a water truck before losing control and crossing into the northbound lane colliding with a white Subaru Crosstrek.

The drivers, both adult women, have been transported to hospital with unknown injuries. There is extensive damage to both vehicles.

As of 1:00 p.m., that area of Glenmore Road North was closed to local traffic only and the RCMP was asking all motorists to avoid the area of Glenmore Road North for the investigation.

If anyone was driving on Glenmore Road North and may have witnessed the grey Nissan Versa prior to the collision, or if anyone has dash-camera video, please call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
