Rockets announce pre-season schedule
The Kelowna Rockets will play five pre-season games to kick off the 2022-23 Western Hockey League season.
Kelowna will open on the road against the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre on September 9, and will host the Blazers the next night on September 10.
Following those games, the Rockets will be home to the Victoria Royals on Tuesday, September 13.
The Rockets will then wrap up their pre-season schedule with a home and home series against the Vancouver Giants on September 16 and 17.
The Western Hockey League also announced today that the 2022-23 regular season will begin on Friday, September 23, 2022.
WHL clubs will begin announcing their home-opening dates for the regular season on Monday, June 20.
Details on individual game tickets for the Rockets preseason games at Prospera Place will be released later this summer.
Rockets season ticket holders have been mailed their renewal packages.
