Three dead after highway crash in Shuswap

Highway 1 in the crash area west of Sorrento is now single lane alternating traffic with delays.

A crash on the Trans Canada Highway just west of Sorrento has claimed three lives.
The collision took place around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon (July 5).
A witness who stopped to offer assistance contacted CFJC Today, confirming two males and one female were deceased at the scene.
There has yet to be any word from authorities, though Drive BC is reporting a traffic backup at that location.
