The Kelowna Rockets will open their Western Hockey League training camp next month.

It will begin with a rookie camp Sept. 1-3, followed by the main camp from Sept. 4-8.

It’s the first time that the Rockets have hosted a rookie camp since the 2019-20 season. They were unable to do so the last two seasons due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The Rockets will open their five-game preseason schedule on the road against the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre on Sept. 9, then hosting the Blazers the next night on Sept. 10.
