B.C. NDP raises $1M in second quarter donations

The second quarter of 2022 saw the B.C. NDP raise more than nearly all other parties combined.

Elections B.C. said the New Democratic Party collected $988,781 in political contributions from April 1 to June 30.

The Liberals raised $668,452 in the second quarter, the Greens collected $307,564, and the Conservatives brought in $45,482.

Elections B.C. said the Rural B.C. Party did not raise any funds in the second quarter.

The NDP collected $472,064 in the second quarter through contributions of $250 or less, while the Greens collected $185,939, the Liberals raised $161,803, and the Conservatives took in $30,735 through similar contributions.

So far this year, the NDP has raised $1,727,121 in political contributions, the Liberals have collected $994,141, the Greens have raised $471,926, the Conservatives have taken in $52,410, and the Rural B.C. Party has collected $280.
