Rockets cut 18 players

The Kelowna Rockets have reduced their WHL training camp roster to 39 players, including five goaltenders, twelve defencemen and 22 forwards.

Talyn Boyko (New York) and Colton Dach (Chicago) have reported directly to their NHL camps.

The following eighteen players have been returned to their respective teams from camp:

The Rockets will open the 2023 preseason on the road against the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre Friday, Sept. 9, followed by the Blazers at Prospera Place on Sept. 10.

The Rockets annual season ticket holder barbeque will take place this Saturday. Join the Rockets outside of Gate One at Prospera Place on September 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
