People using the parking facilities at Kelowna International Airport should be prepared to pay more starting in the new year.
Kelowna council has approved parking fee increases at YLW effective January 3, 2023.
The increases affect most locations, including valet, aircrew, UBCO student and staff, short-term, and long-term lots.
The city said costs will rise to $24.25 per day in short term, and to $15.75 per day in long-term parking.
Curbside meters, as well as the first hour of long-term and short-term parking, remain unchanged.
City staff say the changes are expected to increase parking revenues by $500,000 in 2023, based on forecasted passenger numbers of 2.13 million.
The fee changes are outlined below.
