Missing man’s remains found in Vernon

A Kelowna man who was reported missing last fall has been located deceased in Vernon.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP say what appeared to be human remains were found in the Adventure Bay area on Jan. 25, 2023.

The remains were removed and have now been confirmed to be those of a 32-year-old man, who previously was identified as Dillon Angle.

Angle was reported missing on Oct. 19, 2022 and his vehicle was found abandoned in the 8100 block of Tronson Road.

No criminality is suspected in the death and the B.C. Coroners Service is conducting an investigation to determine how, where, when and by what means the man died.

Neither the Coroner’s Service nor the RCMP had further information to release as of time of publication.
